The revolutionary new disc burning software for iOS users

Sydney, Australia, May 27, 2011 – Lite-On, a global leader of optical storage solutions, has announced that it will be offering visitors the chance to try a pre-release version of MyDisk Suite at Computex Taipei.

MyDisk Suite is an innovative integrated disc burning tool for the PC, iPad and iPhone which consists of DiskCollection, DiskIndex, DiskCase and DiskMobile. A survey conducted by Lite-On identified 83% of users do not install the burning software that comes with their drives due to perceived complexity. Upon this finding, Lite-On developed MyDisk Suite to help address and simplify the issue by taking a very different approach that complements how today’s social generation actually use disc burners.

Requiring only a few straightforward steps to use, MyDisk Suite includes a set of applications for the PC, iPad and iPhone bringing together drag and drop disc burning, file/disc indexing, customised autorun menus, personalised disc covers and iOS image burning.

Minnie Lin, Marketing Manager at PLDS, said, “The Lite-On brand is known for pioneering products that serve its customers. When we discovered the difficulties users had with current burning software, we knew that we had the means to develop a breakthrough solution. MyDisk Suite is the first disc software built to fit with the way today’s social generation uses burners, customises files, and shares content. Its rich, easy-to-use interface integrates PC, iPhone, and iPad.”

Also on display at Computex Taipei, Lite-On will be showcasing its new generation optical drives – the USB 3.0 eHBU212 12x Blu-ray burner offering 3D high-definition playback, as well as its current range of advanced drives including the slender eNAU series external CD/DVD burner with interchangeable top cover inserts recently released in Australia – RRPs: eNAU608 – AU$75 inc GST, eNAU508 – AU$69 inc GST.
