Softlink Pacific Supports Kids' Lit Quiz

Softlink Pacific is to support the Kids’ Lit Quiz National finals for the third year running. This National competition brings together the best literary teams from across New Zealand, in years 6 to 8. Lyn Walker, Softlink Pacific’s Business Account Manager will attend the National final to be held at Parliament House, in Wellington, New Zealand on the 15^th of June, 2011.

The Kids’ Lit Quiz is an annual nationwide literature competition for children aged 10 to 13 years. Established in New Zealand, the competition has broadened worldwide to the UK, USA, South Africa, China, and Canada.

The New Zealand National final participants will be selected from over 230 schools, which are currently competing in a series of regional competitions held during March-June. The winning team will represent New Zealand in the World final which is taking place on 19 July this year in Hamilton. This corresponds with the 20 year anniversary for Kids Lit Quiz.

Softlink Pacific’s Business Account Manager, Ms Lyn Walker, is looking forward to attending both the National Final and International Competitions.

“We are proud to support the Kids’ Lit Quiz, as it provides enthusiasm and motivation for children to read. The competition is an excellent initiative to inspire literacy in schools. I am pleased to attend this year’s final to watch the teams in action,” she said.
