NSC Group acquires more WA-based business

Announcement posted by NSC Group Pty Ltd 15 Jun 2011

Expands presence in WA market

Leading converged-communications integrator, NSC Group, continues to grow its business in Western Australia. NSC has acquired the Perth-based data-networking business of industrial-automation provider ZI-ARGUS (WA) Pty Ltd – further evidence of the importance of the WA market for the company.

It follows NSC’s acquisition of the Perth-based PABX Services Group (PSG) earlier in the year.

More than a dozen customers in the education, government, and human services sectors, among others, that had been supported by ZI-ARGUS will now have their data communications infrastructure requirements serviced by NSC.

“We welcome the opportunity to provide our highly acclaimed Service offering to more WA organisations and deliver strong business value to them,” said Craig Neil, Managing Director, NSC Group.

Director of ZI-ARGUS (WA), Brian Kingston, explained that ZI-ARGUS has decided to move away from data networking in order to focus on its core business in industrial automation and process control. “While the data networking business has proven very successful for us in Western Australia, we felt that an organisation such as NSC was better positioned to service our customers’ ongoing unified-communications requirements.”

“We are working with these new customers to ensure a smooth migration. We are well positioned to deliver our advanced-communications services backed by NSC’s high quality ITIL-based framework,” said Mr Neil. “In addition, ZI-ARGUS customers will now have access to a wider range of unified communications and contact-centre solutions.”
