Announcement posted by Concord Communications 06 Aug 2003

Concord's eHealth demonstrates consistent service performance and KPIs for CxO's
Leading managed services provider and SingTel Optus subsidiary Source Integrated Networks (Source) has enhanced its network management and reporting platform through the selection of Concord Communications' eHealth.

Concord's eHealth will contribute leading web-based reporting capabilities, including premium executive reporting, to the Source Enterprise Management Architecture (SEMA) platform used to deliver Source managed services. The reports include CIO reports and client-customised MyHealth IT infrastructure health reports, designed to be easily understood by senior level executives without a technical background. Source provides access to eHealth reporting via its web portal for a simple monthly fee, under an all-encompassing single SLA.

Commenting on the deal, Source general manager John Caelli said, "Concord can help us achieve our vision of managed services being a leading technology model for business, as companies take advantage of increased operational efficiencies and reduced risk of failure. Concord's proactive management capabilities allow our clients to plan their bandwidth usage ahead of time, ensuring payback to the bottom line.

With eHealth, Source can provide premium executive reporting services for capacity planning and to demonstrate the response times of mission-critical applications."

Peter Martin, Concord Communications regional sales manager, Australia & New Zealand said, " We are delighted that Source has selected Concord as part of its managed services platform. Source has taken an innovative approach, recognising not only that business needs maximum visibility into their infrastructure costs to predict and control spending, but also the need for senior executives to demonstrate that their service level agreements are consistently being met."

Source premium executive reporting is currently available, and already in use by Source clients.

Concord's eHealth provides predictive and real-time problem solving capabilities. Only eHealth enables IT professionals to proactively plan for network growth, predict delays and prevent breakdowns.
