SHE plays Ibiza, Mykonos + Brighton for Debut European Tour

This winter marks an important phase in the life of prestigious Sydney house music brand SHE when it goes global for the first time since stamping its distinct sound on the local scene seven years ago.

Club event producer Experience Entertainment has announced that it will take its longest running party, SHE, to Europe for three dates booked at some of the biggest venues in Ibiza, Brighton and Mykonos.

SHE (Soulful House Experience) has developed a cult following on the local scene as one of the few parties dedicated to a more soulful and uplifting style of house music.

A number of Australian artists have built a strong reputation by association with SHE, while some big international names have toured under the brand, including Bob Sinclar, Ron Carroll, Mark Farina and Junior Jack and Kid Crme to name just a few in just the past 12 months alone.

Experience Entertainment director Graham Cordery said that when he threw the first SHE party in November 2004, he never dreamed it would become the firm favourite on the club scene that it is today. The brand has also spawned two compilations CDs (SHE Summer Essentials Volumes 1 and 2) and the record label SHE Recordings.

“SHE started as just a one-off party, I was curious to see if the heavy, beat-infested Sydney scene would warm to a more soulful and discerning house sound,” Graham Cordery, originally from the UK, said. “When 700 eager party-people tuned up to the first party, the answer was clear.

“Taking SHE to Europe was a natural progression – we’ve built a solid following on the Australian scene, it was time to give European audiences a taste.”

“We’ve got big things planned for this tour with Liam Sampras and Robbie Santiago (SHE Resident DJ’s) headlining SHE at Paradise Club Mykonos, myself, Robbie Santiago & Adam Jacob (percussion) will front the Brighton and Ibiza dates wrapping up an exciting debut European tour for the brand, it’s been a long time coming – our label record sales are strong overseas and can’t wait to give European audiences the full SHE experience!”

Known for drawing a sophisticated crowd of discerning music lovers, SHE events naturally lend themselves to more premium venues, regularly takes over Ivy Pool Club, and hosting their infamous boat parties always selling out well in advance.
