The Attachmate Group Names Martin Mooney as Country Manager for New Zealand

NEW ZEALAND – 17th August 2011 – The Attachmate Group today announced the appointment of Martin Mooney as country manager for The Attachmate Group in New Zealand. In his role, Mooney will be responsible for driving customer success and developing market opportunities for the Group’s four business units – Attachmate, NetIQ, Novell and SUSE – in New Zealand.
Mooney joined
The Attachmate Group in 2007 as a territory manager for Attachmate and NetIQ. He has been instrumental in building both businesses
in New Zealand and identifying new customer opportunities for the company.

played a vital role in driving much of our company and customer success in New
Zealand,” said Boris vancic, vice president and general manager of The
Attachmate Group for APAC. “I am confident that he and his team will continue
to provide our New Zealand customers with the best quality technology products,
solutions and support.”
According to Mooney, the recent acquisition of Novell and SUSE by The Attachmate Group signifies an exciting time for the company in New Zealand.

Prior to The
Attachmate Group, Mooney worked with Datacom, both in a technical and business
capacity, and as country manager for Foundry Networks, Compuware and F5.
