Great Trekking

Our General Manager, Warren Plumridge, returned to work this week. He had been trekking in the wilds of PNG for 2 weeks.

The trekking company that led the trek, Getaway Trekking, stated that it was a very succesful trek, their second Mountains to Musa Trek. This is quite an unique trek, it crosses many rivers during the coarse of the trek, one river is crossed over 70 times in one day. It is challenging and requires a high level of fitness and concentration, as many of the tracks are steep and potentional dangerous. The trek commences at Moreguina/Yanu Station in the south and is completed at Embessa 10 days later, then down the Musa River in boats to the north coast. Finally, it'saccross the Solomon Sea to Oro Bay, which enables road travel to Girua Airport, near Popondetta for the return to Port Moresby.

It sounds like too much effort to us so we have decided to let Warren do all the trekking for us.
