MetaStreamer to be included in DST's family of STP software products
DST International (DST), the leader in business solutions for the investment management industry, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of the software products of Bremer Associates Inc. (Bremer), a leader in data transformation and application integration. The acquisition of all the rights to Bremer's MetaStreamer software further extends the breadth of DST's straight-through processing (STP) capabilities and provides easy and efficient integration of asset management software and data. DST has renamed the MetaStreamer product 'HiWay'.

Bremer's software offering integrates real-time data, batch data or databases and applications, while performing sophisticated data transformations. Through the acquisition, DST will gain powerful software to facilitate and complement trade processing, trade matching, settlement, reconciliation, data cleansing, compliance checking and other similar applications, while providing full SWIFT, FIX, XML, ISITC and other data formats support and transformations.
HiWay is a 100% meta-data driven, middleware solution, designed for global enterprises that need a centralised meta-data repository for handling an ever changing set of data, message formats, and schema which flow into and out of an organisation. HiWay creates a dynamic interface for the transfer of information between systems that is independent of hardware, operating systems, communications protocols, and types of databases.
