A new personal GPS Tracking system to monitor teen behaviour

Perth, Western Australia. 25th August 2011.

GOTRACK today announced that it has teamed up with Tramigo, the world’s best selling low cost GPS tracking provider to bring GPS tracking to the masses with no ongoing monthly service costs.

The range of devices also include a personal tracking device designed to provide parents with an extra set of eyes when it comes to monitoring their children’s behaviour. The small device has a built-in panic button which will alert parent’s mobile phones with details of the child’s location. Parents can also dial in to the unit to hear what’s going on. Users will also be able to set ‘no go areas’ so that the Tramigo will notify them when their child strays into areas that are off limits.

Alert triggers can also be set for speeding for teenage drivers, along with notifying the user if the device exceeds a pre-determined boundary (or distance) from home, school or a friend’s house, for example.

Tramigo also offers an on-demand tracking service to provide concerned parents with the ability to locate their children by simply using any mobile phone, from anywhere in the world.

Paul Delaney, GOTRACK’s General Manager says, ‘we have removed the barrier of monthly access fees to deliver a truly affordable tracking solution. The flexibility of the small unit means that it can also be utilised to monitor assets, boats, motorcycles and other vehicles for the consumer.’

Using a pre-paid SIM card (that the customer supplies) means that access can be as low as $ 30 per year.

Paul Delaney goes on to say that ‘Tramigo meets a demand that until now has been unfulfilled for those customers who require the security of knowing where their valued assets are with the benefit of very low running costs.’

The Tramigo range is available at $ 399 and can be purchased from GOTRACK or selected retail partners.
