Announcement posted by Wonderware 10 Oct 2003

Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys Systems, Inc., today announced that it has received Start magazines 2003 Technology & Business (T&B) Vision award. Wonderware was recognized for its industry-leading software and technology developments, which have helped transform the manufacturing industry.
The T&B Vision awards recognize vendors that use the latest technology to help customers solve critical business challenges. Companies were reviewed by a panel of independent judges selected from industry analyst firms.
This is a significant achievement for Wonderware. With this award, Start recognizes Wonderwares continued commitment to provide the most innovative applications to the manufacturing industry, said Mike Bradley, president of the Wonderware and ArchestrA business units.
From our groundbreaking ArchestrA software architecture to our individual product offerings, Wonderware customers achieve business goals without abandoning prior investments in automation systems, production processes or intellectual property.
Awarded in conjunction with the T&B Vision award is the Vertical Market Solution award, which recognizes end-user customer companies that solve significant business problems by implementing creative, cost-effective technology solutions. Wonderware customer BP America won this award for implementing Wonderwares Industrial Application Server at its natural gas production facility in Durango, Colo. The Industrial Application Server is built on Invensys ArchestrA industrial automation and information software architecture.
