The Regency Media Group Celebrates 25 Years
As part of Regency Media's 25 year celebrations a special presentation was made to all staff who have been with the company for 15 years and over.In her presentation, founder Fiona Horman commented on the changes to the business and industry that these staff had witnessed and thanked them for their support and contribution in seeing Regency meet this milestone.
Presentations were made to David Williams,Deva Thevanesan,Ian Bennett,Mardi Hempstead,Mishell Vremann,Russell Knight,Dominic Borg,Simon Heelis,Donald Fraser,Gregory Fairmond and Phylis Harley.
Other celebrations include the launch of a new corporate website for the company to highlight all of the business units within the group now encompasses - www.regencymediagroup.com.au

The Regency Media Group is a privately owned Australian company and has been manufacturing media for the Home Entertainment Industry since the mid 1950’s. Under a single management structure the company has grown to become Australasia’s most experienced, locally owned electronic media manufacturing business.

Shock has DVD licensing and distribution deals with partners such as WWE Home Video, CBS, E! Entertainment and Timelife. In music, Shock represents prestigious labels such as Cooking Vinyl, Vagrant and Eagle Vision. As part of the acquisition Regency now has access to the second largest independent catalogue in Australia as well as the infrastructure and a specialist team with skills in content acquisition and management. The acquisition of Shock represents the first pillar of the Company’s committed strategy to be a vertically integrated media company.
The Regency Media group also incorporates a Renewable Energy Division which looks after the Australian domestic market in both on grid and off grid systems.
Information on founder Fiona Horman
Fiona founded Regency Recordings in 1986 and has been its CEO since inception. In 2000, Fiona was inducted into the Australian Business Women’s Hall of Fame and in 2003 was a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards, as well as receiving the overall Dun & Bradstreet The Age Business award.
