Announcement posted by Gap Marketing and Management 25 Oct 2011

PocketJet 600 series sets the new standard in Mobile Printing

Sydney, Australia – October 24, 2011 – Brother International has announced its new Brother PocketJet 600 series of mobile printing solutions for printing A4 sized documents. Building upon its already powerful range of desktop and office printers, Brother has now launched this rugged, durable “in the field” mobile printing solution.

In the modern business climate, differentiating yourself from the competition is more critical than ever before. Investing in mobile printing technology increases productivity on-the-go while impressing your customers with the ability to print documents whenever and wherever needed. Imagine being able to close a deal on the spot by printing off documents for your clients to sign while their interest is high in your product or producing an immediate invoice, service report or delivery note. The possibilities and advantages are limitless. Mobile printers are now being recognised as an integral part of a mobile business and essential when striving to maintain a competitive edge.

The PocketJet uses Thermal Print Technology to eliminate the need for ink jet cartridges or toner ribbons. Images are produced as the specially coated thermal paper passes over the heated print head. High quality images are created as the paper reacts to the heat and turns black. Thermal technology allows the printer to be highly compact and also eliminates any risk of ink spillages, leaks or unsightly print smudges. It is the perfect solution for bringing the office with you on the road becoming an invaluable asset for getting the job done quickly and reliably.

When it comes to connectivity, the PocketJet 600 series has all the bases covered boasting Bluetooth, Infrared and USB connections. It can easily be connected to PDA’s, Smartphones, tablet PC’s and notebooks.

Why choose the Brother PocketJet?
PocketJet offers a true A4 mobile solution. At just 26 cm wide and weighing 473g, PocketJet fits easily into a briefcase or computer bag, and can be mounted in vehicles or other work areas.
