Integrated Research maintains high profile PROGNOSIS sales to start 2004

Announcement posted by Integrated Research 26 Feb 2004

Toyota, Beijing Airport and CarrAmerica head up the list of new customers for Sydney-based software developer Integrated Research (ASX:IRI)(IR). Vodacom, the South African-based mobile services company, will also be using IRs PROGNOSIS software to manage its network in Tanzania after a similar installation in Mozambique towards the end of last year.
IR has also fared well with existing customers, Hyundai, EDS Plano, VISA Inovant, eFunds Corporation and Sprint all making significant repurchases in the past month. In Australia Optus has renewed its contract for PROGNOSIS.
In the past six months PROGNOSIS has been implemented by ATM providers in Bulgaria, mobile companies in Africa and stock exchanges in Asia, says IR president and CEO Steve Killelea. Wherever high-availability management and real-time visibility are minimum requirements, PROGNOSIS has a home.
Last week IR reported a net profit after tax of $2.1 million for the six months ending December 2003, an increase over the corresponding period for the prior year of 18%. Revenue for the half-year was $14.3 million. Killelea says the company has identified several emerging systems management markets, such as IP telephony, and is actively targeting PROGNOSIS in these areas in 2004. IP telephony sales have increased by 17% over the corresponding 2002/2003 half-year period.
