KEEN Picks up Speed with the Fast Trail Collection

KEEN introduces new fast trail shoes with KEEN DNA that go faster and have more fun on off-road terrain.

For the Fast Trail Collection, KEEN, a leader in hybrid outdoor performance products, faced the design challenge: can we
go lighter, faster and have more fun on the trail? Combing the opposing elements of performance and fun, KEEN met the challenge with four, new, fast trail shoes for the season. Not loosing sight of KEEN’s DNA, the collection blends comfort andprotection while adding a quicker dimension to the brand’s popular line of rugged, trail styles from seasons past.

MEN’S AND WOMEN’S TRAILHEAD

The modern look of the A86 TR combined with KEEN signature comfort is sure to make this the off-road shoe of choice. Built from lightweight PU and weighing 255 g, the A86 TR packs hidden tech features, glove-like fit and feather-light feel behind its electric colors. This quick shoe is built to move yet offers comfort and protection with dampening properties to reduce stress on impact.

The A86 TR features a breathable textile mesh upper, removable high-rebound EVA footbed, ultralight PU midsole and 3mm multi-directional traction lugs. The men’s version comes in 3 color-popping combos: Black / KEEN yellow,Black / Chilli Pepper and Midnight Navy / Grey. Women can also choose from 3 fun two-tone styles: Gargoyle / Living Coral, Golden Olive / Yellow and Black / Purple Heart. They retail for $140.

Also lining up at the trailhead is the quick-moving and super-responsive Tryon WP. It combines the brand new impact absorbing KEEN.ZORB insole technology with KEEN.Dry waterproofing and thoughtful minimal seam construction in theupper while providing generous room in the forefoot. At 380 g, this trail shoe is built to skip through rough terrain. It is constructed of abrasion- resistant and breathable textile mesh upper over a torsion stability shank, stone-bruising protection plate and 4mm multi directional lugs. Hikers’ heels will appreciate the TPU heel stabilizer and a S3 heel supportstructure. Other features include KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane, removable metatomical dual density EVAfootbed, and a dual density compression molded EVA and PU midsole.

For men, it comes in three colors combinations: Black / Keen Yellow, Rust / Gargoyle and Black / Gargoyle. The women’s style also offers a trio of color choices: Dark Shadow / Lime Green, Gargoyle / Living Coral and Black / Golden Olive. They ring up at $180 a pair.

Rugged for traction with just enough softness to be nimble under foot, the Alamosa is built to go fast and light. Made of waterproof nubuck leather with KEEN.DRY technology and breathable mesh upper, this hiker boasts a removable metatomical dual density EVA footbed, torsion stability TPU shank, dual density compression molded EVA and PU midsole, and 4mm multi-directional lugs. Priced at $200, the men’s version comes in Black Olive / Yellow and Dark Shadow / Picante; while the women’s style is available in Coffee Liquer / Ochre.
