“Amanda brings with her great experience in customer service and retail banking, and her skill set will be invaluable, particularly in ensuring our members in the Pilbara are offered the very best customer service possible; the team at Karratha is very much looking forward to welcoming Amanda into her new role.

“In an environment where it can be challenging to attract and retain great people in the Pilbara due to the inflated salaries prevalent in the mining sector, we are genuinely delighted to have secured someone with Amandas skills and talent.”

Prior to joining United Community Amanda held several positions at local Karratha businesses including the Commonwealth Bank, Retravision, Karratha International Hotel, Chemex and the Dampier Mermaid Hotel and Motel, which gave her good experience in customer service. “Im really looking forward to joining the United Community team and, in particular, taking on an active role in the local community by continuing to build strong relationships with our existing members and also the wider Karratha community,” Ms Letcher says.
