QuickBooks 2011/12 named Best Accounting Suite by PC User

Announcement posted by Reckon Limited 11 Jan 2012

QuickBooks Plus 2011/12 has been named Best Accounting Suite in the PC User magazine 2011 Product of the Year awards.

The PC User Top 100 product of the year awards are announced in the January issue of the magazine each year. Under the software category, two Reckon products, QuickBooks Plus 2011/12 and Quicken Personal 2012, have been recognised.

PC User magazine says, “QuickBooks Plus 2011/12 adds a range of useful features and tweaks; we particularly like the customisable company snapshot overview.” The new Company Snapshot feature now offers greater flexibility with 19 customisable elements, plus users can choose to view their current information graphically or in detail.

The QuickBooks 2011/12 release also offers a tool to help manage the new Paid Parental Leave Scheme and the Reckon GovConnect – Activity Statement Lodgment application, which uses Standard Business Reporting (SBR*) for submitting Business Activity Statements to the ATO. All the new features are also available in Reckon’s online accounting software, QuickBooks Hosted.

Quicken Personal 2012 has been recognised as the Best-value Personal Finance Manager in the Top 100 awards. PC User says, “Whether it’s preparing your tax, managing day-to-day expenses or budgeting for the future, Quicken Personal has all the tools you need.”

One of the significant new features in Quicken 2012, released in November last year, is the improved Home Inventory Manager. Users can now easily keep a comprehensive record of personal possessions alongside photographs, warranties, appraisals and receipts.

Full details about the PC User Top 100 awards are available in the January issue of the magazine.
