Tough Corp today announces an agreement with Next Computing to supply, promote and service the range of NextComputing, manufacturer of rugged portable and dense form factor work-stations, throughout North America.
The combination of the NextComputing’s market-leading products and Tough Corp’s considerable knowledge and existing client base in the rugged sector, will help establish NextComputing as a market leader in rugged portables and dense form factor workstations on an international scale.
Government and military organizations have many mission critical responsibilities demanding the utmost in computer performance. For Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) applications, commercial notebooks – ruggedized or not – simply do not possess the required performance, power, or storage capabilities. Transporting bulky, fragile servers that can't hold up in a harsh environment and that consume large amounts of electrical power is only a liability when the stakes are high.
