Mob Wives - Season 1

Beginning June 6, the new 3-disc DVD set, featuring all ten episodes of VH1’s top-rated series, will reunite fans with the show’s four fiery females from some of New York City’s most famous “families.” The DVD collection also contains the talked-about “Mob Wives” Reunion Special as well as exciting bonus materials, including a never-before-seen Season 2 sneak peek and previously unreleased deleted scenes.

A runaway hit from the start, “Mob Wives” is a “docu-soap” that follows the larger-than-life experiences of four long-time friends in Staten Island as they struggle to pick up the pieces and keep their families together after the men in their lives have been imprisoned for mob-related activities. “Mob Wives UNCENSORED: Season 1” stars Renee Graziano, the daughter of Anthony Graziano, who, according to the Federal Government, was a high-ranking member of La Cosa Nostra; Karen Gravano, the daughter of Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, the infamous mobster who helped take down the notorious Gambino crime family; Drita D’avanzo, the wife of Lee D’avanzo, thought to be the leader of a Bonanno and Colombo crime family farm team; and Carla Facciolo whose father went to prison when she was young and whose husband was convicted for a boiler room scandal.

Along the way they battle their friends, families and each other as they try to do what's best for themselves and their children. It's not easy to maintain the lifestyle they were accustomed to when the family's primary bread winner is in lock up. From The Godfather to The Sopranos to My Cousin Vinny, these women are sick and tired of the lies and stereotypes that exist about their lives. They're determined to finally set the record straight and show the world once and for all that while their lives may seem crazy at first glance, they love, laugh and get their hearts broken just like everyone else.

Mob Wives is a hugely successful franchise with spin off series ‘Mob Wives Chicago’ in production, and the Mob Wives Season 2 achieving impressive ratings earlier this year. Episode 1, Season 2 aired on 1 January in the US gaining 3.5 million viewers tuning-in for the first Episode and landed 11 Twitter trending topics and 10,000 Facebook likes.
