REGAL-IT PRESENTED WITH FIRST DELL ASIA PACIFIC PARTNERDIRECT EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR STORAGE

Only Australian Company to Win the Storage Award with five other Overseas Organisations

SYDNEY, Australia, July 3rd 2012. 

Regal-IT an award winning Managed Services, IT consulting and product provider to Australian enterprise customers was today awarded the inaugural Dell Asia Pacific PartnerDirect Excellence Award for Storage at a Dell hosted luncheon in Sydney.

Regal-IT joined with five Dell channel partners from China, Korea, Japan, Thailand and India in being a winner in the Storage Excellence category. Other categories covered Server and Solutions excellence.

Dell explained that these are the first Dell Asia Pacific PartnerDirect Excellence Awards.  Seventeen partners across Asia Pacific and Japan were awarded with the APJ PartnerDirect Excellence Award for their outstanding partnership and business accomplishment. Dell Asia Pacific PartnerDirect Excellence Awards recognize channel partners not only for their valuable contribution but also for sharing the same vision and for successfully delivering Dell’s enterprise solutions to the customers.  Winning partners were highly trained and certified, and have effectively articulated Dell’s solutions and value proposition to meet customers’ needs.

Commenting on the award Richard Lee Dell’s VP Asia Pacific and Japan, Dell Global Commercial Channel said, “The winners excelled in their commitment to Dell and demonstrated a strong ability to win business and communicate Dell’s value proposition.  The APJ PartnerDirect Excellence Awards is a platform to recognize those partners delivering enterprise solution excellence and winning in the data centre.”

Australian Aerospace, the Brisbane-based supplier of military helicopters and services to the Australian Defence Force, is a Dell/Compellent storage user and was delighted to hear of Regal-IT ‘s award. Operations manager Adam Carey said; “Regal-IT designed, supplied and supported our Compellent Storage Area Network with great success and having Dell behind them has been a boon for us. We heartily endorse Regal-IT as Dell’s choice for this award.”
