Steggles talks turkey in major national launch

Steggles is turning turkey into a year-round meat for Australians with the launch of the exciting Steggles Turkey Shortcuts range.
While Australians have always enjoyed turkey on special occasions, the Steggles turkey range of products makes it easy to deliver simple, tasty and healthy meal options every day, for the whole family.
The Turkey Shortcuts range simplifies the turkey cooking experience with ready-to-cook meal solutions and recipes on the back of pack of products that requires more involvement.
The Turkey Shortcuts range, which is available at Coles supermarkets, includes turkey mince, kebabs, shanks, thigh roasts and burgers.
As well as being flavoursome, turkey, the meat often referred to as a ‘superfood’, is high in protein and contains essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B12, iron, niacin, selenium and zinc. Combined, they can help maintain low cholesterol, stabilise insulin levels and strengthen the immune system.

Turkey mince – the fresh butcher style mince contains no artificial colours or preservatives. Perfect for a fresh twist on pasta (recipe back of pack) or to create a healthy burger. It’s 97% fat-free and a source of vitamin B12. RRP $6.00 per 500g pack.
Turkey Kebabs – fresh turkey meat skewered then hand dipped in a rich smokey BBQ plum marinade. Perfect for grilling, the kebabs are 97% fat-free, free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. RRP $7.80 per tray.
Turkey Shanks - tender and delicious French cut drumsticks, seasoned with garlic and rosemary. Destined to be a popular family favourite. Oven bake or slow cook for the perfect meal. Low in saturated fat, high in protein and a source of iron. RRP $9.00 per kg.
Turkey Thigh Roast – fresh turkey thigh fillets hand rolled in sage, onion and cracked pepper. Roast in the oven and carve for a delicious mid-week winter roast. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Each pack contains two generous size pieces. RRP $11.90 per kg.
Turkey Burgers – fresh turkey meat seasoned with parsley, thyme and garlic. A healthy, tasty alternative for the grill or barbeque. 97% fat free, gluten free and containing no artificial colours and flavours. RRP $6.90 per pack.
