Amtex introduces three new power supplies

Announcement posted by Amtex Electronics 26 Feb 2004

Amtex Electronics today announced three new power supply products to suit even the most demanding applications.
The Genesys Lab Power Supply is a 19 rack-mounted device, just 1U high. Available in 750W and 1500W versions, the former occupying just half the width of the 19" rack, the power supplies are ideal for use in scientific labs, powering industrial lasers, the chemical and water industries, automotive test equipment and any other application where high power is required.
The power supplies can even be stacked vertically, courtesy of front and rear cooling vents which steer heat away from critical components to allow world-leading densities at a pleasantly affordable price. Some popular models are available ex stock from Amtexs Sydney office.
The PH series of DC-DC building bricks offers power levels ranging from 50W to 600W, with input voltages of 24, 48, 110 and 280VDC and output voltages from 3. to 48VDC.
These modules are a compact, low profile package, encapsulated with a metal base plate for effective cooling and are ideal for applications such as telecom, rail, general transport, industrial and control machinery.
Detailed application manuals are available to help you design your next DC power solution, and with many of the building bricks in stock and Amtexs engineering team on hand to help, it should be a short job! Some popular models are available ex stock from Amtexs Sydney office.
The SYS1298 range of external, plug-in power supplies help any manufacturer satisfy the increasingly small power requirements of todays electronic devices.
With power levels from 9 to 18W, these units come packaged in a compact and attractively looking 75x38x43 package. The switched mode design accepts a universal input voltage of 90 to264VAC and provides fully regulated outputs from 3 to 24VDC via a DC cable and plug. Rated to meet all relevant Australian safety regulations, the power supplies are easily available and remove the need for custom power supply designs.
