MAR brings mobile robot to QME

MAR is at QME with a robot with a difference.
The 'Mobile Profile Scanner' is an autonomous robotdesigned for scanning in potentially hazardous areas to ensure the safety of personnel.
Particularly useful in mining applications such as extraction point profiling and mill liner scanning, Machinery Automation & Robotics (MAR) is taking the Mobile Profile Scannerfor display on the Rockwell stand at QME.
Mark Lix, Automation Engineer and MAR's Mining Industry Specialist, says: 'The Mobile Profile Scanner not only dramatically increases safety for personnel, but also provides a fast and accurate means of data collection'.

The Mobile Profile Scanner is on stand 1017 (Rockwell) at QME 24th - 26th July in Mackay.
