Ripple Massage has just launched its chocolate massage, a unique style of massage to Ripple that combines the indulgence of chocolate and is good for the body at the same time.
Ripple's owner, Alison Shaw, found the massage in Barcelona, and introduced it back here in Australia, developing the style to make it an experience unique to Ripple's guests.
"I was browsing some shops near the Gaudi church, when down a little side alley I spied a small day spa, tucked away," said Alison.
"Always keen to try new styles of massage when I travel, one of the perks of my job, I wandered in. My Spanish doesn't extend beyond hola and per favour, but I knew as soon as I saw the massage menu I had to have whatever included the word "chocolat".
"The next two hours were as close to massage perfection as I could get. Lush chocolate warmed with oil and massaged across my body."
"I had to bring it back to Ripple, so we have launched it into Australia with our own special touches, making it a unique, one of a kind experience that our guests won't get anywhere else. We also include a gift box with chocolates to eat during the massage, a handmade chocolate candle and luscious chocolate soap for afterwards. One word ... divine."
