ATO selects Datacom to Outsource Contact Centre Services Panel



The Australian Tax Office (ATO) has appointed Australasian technology services company Datacom to their Outsource Contact Centre Services (OCCS) panel group. 

Datacom will work with the ATO from their Australian facilities to deliver advanced consumer and business tax services for Australian citizens.

It was a fiercely competitive bid so we are delighted to have been selected as one of only three providers for this top flight complex contact centre work for a five year extensible term. We know that this appointment recognises our proven track record, advanced technical capabilities and our long term commitment to the federal government market.”

With near four million transactions per annum requiring outsource support ATO were looking for best in class on shore service providers.

Earlier in the month Datacom, in partnership with AusIndustry, won the ‘Best Outsourced Contact Centre’ award at the Government Contact Centre Summit 2012.

Datacom’s outsource acumen and regional focus across the APAC region was also recognised at the recent Contact Centre Association of Singapore awards. Datacom took out “Best Outsourced Contact Centre” category receiving both the Gold for their Philippines operation and the Silver award for Datacom Kuala Lumpur.
