Queanbeyan City Council selects ConnXion

ConnXion Limited (ASX:CXN), a leading provider of document production and delivery solutions, today announced the signing of a contract with the Queanbeyan City Council for the implementation of the ConnXion Hosted Service.
The ConnXion Hosted Service uses an Application Service Provider (ASP) model which enables councils to remotely use ConnXion as its communications infrastructure to produce critical business documents such as bills, invoices and statements and seamlessly deliver them to their customers via paper/post, email, fax and short message service (SMS).
We are generating a significant amount of interest from councils throughout Australia seeking to provide their ratepayers with a choice of how to receive their assessment notices. As the first council in Australia to adopt and implement the ConnXion Hosted Service, the QCC will now have a fully automated document delivery process where notices are delivered either by paper/post, email, fax or a combination of all of them, said David Colvin, CEO of ConnXion Limited.
The Queanbeyan City Council (QCC) will see immediate benefits from the implementation of the ConnXion Hosted Service, in terms of reduced document delivery costs, improved business processes and increased ratepayer satisfaction. The ConnXion Hosted Service will automatically produce, route and deliver the rate and water assessment notices to the recipients, resulting in an accelerated migration to a lower cost and more efficient electronic delivery channel.
