“Mango is magic for the skin,” said Alison Shaw, owner of Ripple Massage.

“When eaten, as well as being delicious, it is packed with antioxidant compounds that can help protect against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers. It is also known for reducing pimples and acne.

“The oil derived from the stone is rich in nutrients and moisturizing properties and has a beautiful buttery feel, which makes it perfect for massaging. Coming out of winter, our skin is often dry, so this will give it the much needed moisture for the warmer weather,” Alison continued.

“At Ripple we use the oil derived from the stone of the fruit mixed in with our other base oils and a mango scent, to give our clients a unique summertime massage. We also incorporate the mango oil into our walnut shell exfoliation to polish and buff the skin.”
