A recent reform to NSW laws has placed greater restrictions on how drivers can use their mobile phones when on the road – prompting increased reliance on technologies such as Bluetooth car speakers.

Effective from November 1, NSW drivers will only be able to use mobile phones if they are completely hands free or mounted.  Any activity which requires holding a phone - such as texting, emailing, or even answering a phone call while placed in your lap – will be prohibited.
