ViewSonic launches TD2220 touch-enabled LED display

Sydney, Australia, November 13, 2012 – ViewSonic® Corp., a leading global provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions, today announced the release of its anticipated TD2220 – 22-inch Windows 8-ready multi-touch display. Designed for commercial and consumer touch screen applications, education and point-of-sale, the TD2220 delivers a highly accurate touch screen experience that is intelligent and interactive.
The 22-inch (21.5-inch viewable) TD2220 is equipped with advanced dual point optical touch technology ensuring precision handling and wrapped in a hardened 8H level scratch resistant surface that is dustproof to ensure its durability. Featuring Full HD 1080p resolution, the TD2220 presents excellent image quality for a variety of multimedia content that is perfect for two-point touch control, whether by finger, stylus, or even a gloved hand.
With a USB HID compliant design, the TD2220 provides automatic touch functionality via USB connection under Windows 8 operating systems. Paired with multiple video sources (DVI with HDCP and VGA inputs), and a 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, the TD2220 delivers an immersive viewing experience that is ideal for blur-free video and distinct images, as well as sharp business graphics and presentations.
