Tencia software wins innovation award

Melbourne, Victoria 28th November 2012 – Arrow Research Corporation a leading Australian software development house was awarded the Consensus software award for its flagship Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution ‘Tencia’.
The awards were presented in Sydney on the 19th November by The Hon Malcolm Turnbull, Shadow Minister for Communications & Broadband and identify the most innovative software in Australia and New Zealand. They are endorsed and supported by NZ Trade & Enterprise, Australian Computer Society and New Zealand Computer Society.
“We were very pleased with the result and the judge’s citation. The awards exist to reward excellence in Australian and New Zealand software design and to strengthen software development throughout Australasia so we were delighted that our innovative design and development work has now been recognised and acknowledged by this award” explained Mr Lawrence Hughes – Arrow’s International Business Development Manager.
The three key criteria for the awards were: Innovation, market potential and performance. Tencia’s open application integration gateway, its support of the Global Standards 1 electronic data interchange format and its workflow and reporting functionality were some of the key features that impressed the judges. The judging panel were unanimous in their recognition of the outstanding potential for Tencia in the international market.
