Announcement posted by Beyond Bank Australia 06 Dec 2012
After more than 20 years at 44 Waymouth Street, leading credit union Community CPS Australia is moving its administration office and branch to larger, more energy efficient premises to accommodate a growing team and improved facilities for members.
The move only takes Community CPS a few metres down the road to 100 Waymouth Street, where refurbishments have been completed to create a state-of-the-art office complex and banking branch, with trading at the premises to commence on 10 December.
The new building has a Green Energy Rating of 4.5 stars on the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) and a Water Rating of 4 stars NABERS, placing the facility in the top 10 per cent of Adelaide’s most efficient buildings.
Community CPS chief executive officer Robert Keogh said the new premises were designed to offer outstanding member services within the branch, and create a modern and progressive working environment with an open plan theme for the administration centre
“Our existing lease agreement expires at the end of the year, and as we continue to experience strong growth and sustained positive business performance, this is an ideal opportunity for us to create a new hub for our members and a dynamic workspace for our staff,” said Mr Keogh.
“As an employer of choice we want to make sure we offer our employees a supportive and positive environment. The offices have been designed to create a strong culture by encouraging and enabling people to connect, share, collaborate and succeed, while also offering quiet spaces.
“It was important to us to provide a healthy, friendly and casual working environment. Natural light and indoor plants form an integral part of the office design, creating naturally positive work spaces for our staff.
“The new modern branch facilities have been developed to meet the changing needs of our membership. This includes a stronger focus on providing wealth management advice and encouraging involvement in our community activities, along with a variety of features for member interactions including iPads for self service Internet Banking and free WI-FI.”
Trading will not be interrupted as a result of the move. From December 10 all operations and services will be facilitated at the 100 Waymouth Street address.
