Punnky fears server meltdown for Wednesday High-Five-Athon: one million high fives expected

Punnky, the World Happiness Movement behind tomorrow's "World High-Five-athon" day, is desperately bolstering up its servers in preparation for the worldwide event.  With over 1 million high-fives expected on the day, the Punnky team are nervous that their website server will crash under the frenzy of traffic.

Celebrities and Public Figures are flocking to support the World High Five-athon.  Leader of the Opposition, Tony Abbott says "I am pleased to join with other members of our community in marking World High Five Day in Australia, as part of the worldwide goal to reach 1 million high fives. I encourage people, especially young people, to get involved with World High Five Day and to use this time to reflect on the blessings in their lives."

Former tennis great and Liberal MP John Alexander will be giving high Fives at Epping and Eastwood train stations in Sydney.  Former AFL great Warwick Capper will be giving high fives in the Gold Coast.  Click Frenzy founder Grant Arnott has already high-fived his dog, which got great traction on Facebook.

The Punnky high five team will be starting their mission tomorrow at  Martin Place from 6.00am and will continue to spread happiness in the CBD until after midday where they will be joined by over a dozen Brazilian dancers and will not stop until they see everyone smile. Last week, Punnky Chief High Five Officer Robert Coorey gave 3000 high-fives at Wynyard Station in one hour!
