Punnky team are devastated, calls for Railcorp to share some happiness
A Sydney train station has kicked out the Punnky high-five team for giving high fives to commuters.

Punnky Global Happiness boss Gary Ng says "We were only trying to spread happiness, I don't understand why we cant give people high fives"

Former tennis great and Liberal MP John Alexander has also joined in the fun and was giving high-fives at Eastwood train station before the security guards spoiled the fun.

Punnky Chief High-five Officer Robert Coorey has criticised Railcorp, saying "they aren't with the program. We're doing something to help the community and spread happiness across the world, and Railcorp wont even let us give high fives to commuters. It's ridiculous."

The Punnky team are aiming to give out 1,000,000 high fives for the first world high-five-athon day.  They will be at Pitt Street Mall in Sydney at 12pm to give out thousands of high fives and will be joined by Brazilian dancers.

Opposition leader Tony Abbott has expressed his support for the day. "I am pleased to join with other members of our community in marking World High Five Day in Australia. I encourage people, especially young people, to get involved with World High Five day."
