Virtual.Offis Taps New Revenue Streams With CA Technologies

CA Nimsoft Monitor Selected to Provide Customers Improved Infrastructure Monitoring and Reporting

Sydney, 24 January, 2013 – CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA) today announced that Virtual.Offis has selected CA Nimsoft Monitor to support the company’s drive to access new revenue streams.

As part of the deal, Virtual.Offis will use CA Nimsoft Monitor to provide enhanced monitoring and reporting capabilities both internally and to its customers. Giving customers better insights into their complex hosted infrastructure, including networking, storage and applications, can improve service levels by expediting problem resolution. Virtual.Offis will offer the ability to provide real-time and historical information to their customers via the Nimsoft web portal. The portal will assist in optimising the use of the Virtual.Offis infrastructure and enhance the customer experience.

“Virtual.Offis provides managed infrastructure hosting services to some of Australia’s largest organisations – McDonalds, TABcorp, Secure Parking and OzForex, among many others,” said Chy Chuawiwat, CEO, Virtual.Offis.

Virtual.Offis chose CA Nimsoft Monitor for its breadth of capabilities that can provide added value for customers while driving its growth.

“CA Nimsoft Monitor enhances the quality of our managed service offerings by providing deeper monitoring capabilities for  Virtual.Offis and our customers. We now have one solution to monitor and report across our entire infrastructure, which is critical to helping us continue our high rate of growth. We also will be able to offer further service transparency to our customers giving more competitive differentiation,” said Chuawiwat. “Virtual.Offis has had an overwhelmingly positive response from customers and we’re confident that it will open up new revenue streams– particularly in instances where customers would have previously used a third party service.”

“Here in Australia, CA Nimsoft Monitor is gaining traction at every turn, primarily because of the need to assure impeccable customer service,” said Bill McMurray, managing director, CA Technologies. “We are pleased to be able to provide a solution that will assist Virtual.Offis along this path - both for its own operation and for that of its customers.”

The newest version of the solution, CA Nimsoft Monitor 6, was launched in Australia in October 2012 and forms part of the CA Technologies Service Assurance technology portfolio.
