For the first Web Wednesday of 2013, The Creative Collective are thrilled to have secured representatives from YouTube/Google+ and Facebook to feature as panellists.

Nick Bowditch, Manager of Small Business, Australia and New Zealand for Facebook; Kia Wahl from Google+/YouTube in Sydney and Mark Cameron, CEO of Working Three, a strategic social media agency based in Melbourne that specialises in commercialising social media activity will all travel to feature live in person at the event which is titled ‘Social Media All Stars’ and which will take place on Wednesday 20 February.

“It’s so heart-warming to have seen these events go from low-key get togethers of about 30 industry contacts when they started in 2008, to now be attracting guests panellists of this calibre. As far as I am aware, we are the first people to ever bring Google or Facebook to the Sunshine Coast, so I really hope the local business community, and any one else interested in social networking will make the most of this opportunity to come and network with them and ask any of questions they may have about what the social networks are doing and where they are going in the future. It’s going to be huge!” says CEO and founder of The Creative Collective, Yvette Adams.

The event will take place at Lecture Room 1, Sunshine Coast TAFE, Lady Musgrave Drive, Mountain Creek, Sunshine Coast on Wednesday 20 February, 5pm networking for a 6pm start with free pizza provided by Pizza Capers Maroochydore.

Tickets are just $35 and students are free with a valid ID.

The event will also be live-streamed to http://www.facebook.com/thecreativecollective.
