Strong growth in managed services recurring revenues underpin Brennan IT’s performance
15 February, 2013, Sydney, Australia:  Leading managed services and cloud provider Brennan IT has been named Australia's number one managed services provider in the 2013 MSPmentor 501 Global Edition Report, for the fourth consecutive year. The award recognises Brennan IT's leading performance and stellar growth, with overall revenues for FY2013 expected to be over 20% on 2012 figures.

Brennan IT also made the global top 10, ranking eighth best in the world, beating off European and Asian competition to be the highest ranked company outside the US and Canada, in what is becoming a highly competitive report.

The MSPmentor 501 report is based on data from MSPmentor's global survey. It recognises top managed services providers based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue growth, revenue per employee, managed services offered and customer devices managed.

Brennan IT was commended for its strong growth amid a tough market for IT services.  It saw managed services increase significantly  in 2012, and it has nearly 60,000 PCs and 13,000 servers and network devices under management.

Dave Stevens, managing director of Brennan IT, says he's delighted by the award.

"We're thrilled to be recognised as Australia's leading managed service provider for the fourth year running.  We're passionate about the midmarket, and very proud to rank so high globally as well," Stevens says.

"This award follows a strong year of growth for Brennan IT. We're expecting our full year forecast to hit $75m, representing 20% growth over 2012."

Since opening 16 years ago, Brennan IT has championed the needs of the mid market and has strived to make it easier for this sector to embrace new technologies.

“From the outset we wanted Brennan IT to be the mid market advocate, so we effectively built a business based around servicing their needs - from how we structure contracts, the commercials, SLAs to the range of solutions we offer,” Stevens adds.

"We aim to provide solutions that save businesses money, and improve efficiency and competitiveness. Awards such as these help validate our strategy of delivering a complete IT solution as part of a fully managed offering."
Nine Lives Media president Amy Katz agrees that the mid sized market is deserving of recognition. MSPs on this year’s global 501 list lifted their combined annual recurring revenues to $2.54 billion.

“The managed services market continues to grow swiftly. Small, midsize and large MSPs worldwide deserve greater recognition for their accelerating momentum. Awards such as the new MSPmentor 501 Global Edition help fulfil that mission," Katz says.
