The Kigu.me team pull on their animal onesies to help Clean Up Australia

Every year, hundreds of thousands of Australians lend a hand across the country by taking part in the Clean Up Australia Day initiative, cleaning up their local environment by collecting and removing rubbish.

On Sunday 3^rd March the Kigu.me Team had heads turning along the St Kilda foreshore in Melbourne. Sporting their animal onesies, gloves and garbage bags it was a sight to be seen as they collected rubbish along the foreshore to play their part in this fantastic initiative.

“It seemed only fitting to get our company involved…. When you jump into your animal onesie it’s nice to know that you’ve done something right for the environment and the real animals out there” said Kigu.me joint-founder Aidan Lister on the decision to take part.

“We’re extremely passionate about giving back. Here at Kigu.me we believe in being generous, as well as staying comfy!” added Daniel Labib, joint-founder.

The last six months alone have seen Kigu.me donate over $10,000 to charities across Australia as part of their weekly Community Tuesday initiative. Kigu.me customers are involved in selecting charities to donate funds to, with the money raised from a percentage of each Kigu.me purchase.

“It was fantastic experience for all involved and we can’t wait to help out again next year”.
