Flatrate enables users to take control of their printing costs
OKI Data Australia, a global manufacturer of business printers and multi-function devices, has boosted its range of printing solutions with the launch of its managed print services program – OKI Flatrate.
With Flatrate, OKI has offered a selection of its printers and multifunction devices featuring advanced LED technology, as well as various printing plans from 500 to 3000 pages, giving customers the opportunity to choose the ideal solution to meet their particular requirements. OKI also offers the flexibility to tailor a plan to more closely match the needs of particular customers.
Targeting the small to medium business market, the program offers customers a simple printing plan which covers hardware, consumables and service costs for a fixed amount per month over three years. This gives OKI’s customers predictability and control over printing costs. Customers receive an automated supply of OKI consumables when required, hassle-free installation, technical support as well as quick hardware repair or replacement. Flatrate also offers OKI channel partners several key benefits including instant hardware margin and ongoing consumables margin.
OKI is partnering with Distribution ONE to deliver the Flatrate program to the channel.

The target channels via which OKI is looking to reach customers includes IT specialists, System Integrators and those with managed print service capability. Our channel partners will now be better equipped to compete against other printer vendors and have the opportunity to gain guaranteed recurring consumables margin, as well as repeat revenue upon customer contract completion," says Antonio Leone, OKI Data Australia’s Marketing Manager.
According to Leone, “Channel partners will also in effect become business consultants able to advise customers on the ideal OKI product to suit their business and offering guidance through the finance registration and authorisation process. That’s in addition to the provision of expert product installation services."
