Joondalup Residents Getting Fit in 2013

Starting early this year, Joondalup's foremost provider of fitness gear, Orbit Fitness, polled the city's people about what New Year's resolutions they made for 2013. Of those, more than three-quarters stated that they wanted to shed some of their extra weight.

Ever since this endeavour was undertaken, Orbit Fitness has enjoyed an uncharacteristically large boost in their Joondalup fitness equipment sales. Due to this explosive growth, the company has upgraded to a larger property so that they can continue to offer a broader array of items to people who are into sports and fitness.

The Managing Director of Orbit Fitness, Peter Hodgson, stated, "We've been very pleased that Joondalup residents have decided to take their health seriously this year. Because of everyone's increased interest in getting fit, our company has grown so much that it must transfer to a more accommodating location, which we will move into this week. The larger facilities will enable us to provide a better variety of fitness equipment to those interested in taking better care of their health."

When the company questioned people about how they planned on losing the pounds, the overwhelming majority said that they're going to exercise more with a little over half stating that they plan to adopt a healthier diet. Only one-fifth said that they will try crash dieting.

Out of the people who intended to exercise, nearly half opted to begin cardiovascular exercises like running or cycling. About one-third decided to use weight training while the rest chose group fitness activities or high-intensity activities like hockey or boxing.

Beginning on the fifth of March, people living in Joondalup will be able to visit Orbit Fitness' new location at U78 Joondalup Gate, Joondalup Drive. It is located between Thingz Living and Freedom Furniture. The company's helpful and knowledgeable staff will always be around to make being healthy a bit simpler.
