First freehold medical suites launched in Health Hub

The Sunshine Coast’s multi-billion dollar Health Hub at Oceanside Kawana will tonight celebrate another milestone when Evans Long launches Pulse Oceanside Medical - the precinct’s first opportunity to purchase freehold space.

Pulse Oceanside Medical, which is located directly opposite the proposed entrance to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and diagonally opposite Ramsay’s Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, will commence construction later this year and is expected to attract interest from across the Coast and further afield due to its prime location.

Matthew and his team were responsible for the successful Nucleus Medical Suites located at the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital in Buderim as well as the Premion Cancer Centre in Nambour.

“Given the scale and level of investment into the Oceanside precinct and Pulse’s excellent location, we have no doubt the space will be over-subscribed and have already had a number of enquiries from medical practitioners eager to secure their space,” Mr Evans said.

The Centre will total six levels encompassing 2,640m2 of medical accommodation over the top four levels as well as 830m2 of ground floor retail, and will offer onsite car parking at the ground and first levels of the building.  

Pulse is located on the corner location fronting Birtinya Boulevard and the East West Link providing a visual connection with both hospitals and direct pedestrian access to the traffic-controlled intersection. 

The Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is due to open Stage 1 in December 2013 providing 200 beds and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital which incorporates the Skills and Academic Research Centre is now under construction and proposed to open in 2016 with 450 beds, expanding to an estimated 738 beds by 2021.
