Ingram Micro Brings Condusiv's Application Optimisation Software to Australia

Announcement posted by Ingram Micro Australia 02 Apr 2013

Condusiv signs with Ingram Micro to distribute its data and application optimisation software – including Diskeeper, V-locity and Undelete.

Sydney, Australia, 2nd April, 2013. Ingram Micro, Australia’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain, mobile device lifecycle services and logistics solutions announced today it has signed a distribution agreement with Condusiv Technologies.

Condusiv Technologies creates software that optimises and maintains application performance, efficiency and I/O throughput and extends equipment longevity to make technology, people and businesses more productive. The company’s products are used by more than 90% of the Fortune 500 and almost three-quarters of The Forbes Global 100.

Lee Welch, Ingram Micro’s Senior Business Manager, Enterprise Software and Cloud Services, says Ingram Micro is excited to be working with Condusiv.

“Condusiv’s software solutions offer great benefits to a really wide range of customers – from large enterprise to the midmarket. Its software products are easy to install and use, require no maintenance and deliver dramatic performance benefits at a very affordable price.”

“We think there’s going to be particularly strong demand for Condusiv’s V-locity® product, which is a great addition to our data-centre and virtualisation solution set and highly complementary with solutions from vendors such as VMware, Microsoft and Veeam. With V-locity, customers who have virtualised will see 50% faster applications on their existing hardware,” Welch says.

Ingram Micro is the ideal partner for Condusiv in Australia, says Jerry Baldwin, Condusiv Technologies’ US-based CEO.

“Ingram Micro’s broad base of resellers allows us to maximise the range of end customers we can reach, from large enterprises to SMEs and ensure we have the right level of channel support for each specific market segment. We’re really looking forward to working with Lee and his team to grow our market share in Australia,” says Baldwin.

Welch says he’s extremely impressed with Condusiv’s commitment to standing behind its products, in particular with the recent announcement of a limited-time software guarantee program for channel partners on its V-locity 4 product.

“While customers typically see performance improvements in excess of 50%, Condusiv goes a step further and actually guarantees a MINIMUM of 25% faster application performance on Virtual Machines (VMs) for all VMware ESX/ESXi and Microsoft platforms in customer production environments - or the software is free! That’s real confidence,” Welsh says.

“Customers can even verify expected performance benefits before they purchase. V-locity comes with a self-auditing benchmark that measures pre and post install performance and quantifies the benefits V-locity will deliver in their real-world environment,” says Welsh. “This means it’s a completely risk-free proposition for customers and an easy sell for channel partners.”

Welsh says Condusiv also offers resellers a very strong partnership through its extended Channel Partner program including a partner portal, certification and training program, support with marketing and PR, and a range of channel incentives.

About Condusiv Technologies' Products

Diskeeper: Condusiv’s multi award-winning Diskeeper software keeps Windows systems running like new. Diskeeper runs in the background on laptops, workstations and even servers, providing proactive optimisation that increases performance and prevents performance-robbing fragmentation from occurring. Boot-time, application loading and the reading and writing of files is greatly enhanced so Windows system performance doesn’t degrade over time.

V-locity is designed for VMware ESX/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines and delivers 50% more performance without the cost of new or additional hardware. V-locity uniquely optimises I/O for both reads and writes at the source to ensure only productive I/O traffic is pushed through the server, network and storage for unprecedented application performance gains from software.

Undelete provides network “recycle bin” capability to Windows file servers and lets network administrators or their users recover accidentally deleted files or revert to previous versions of MS Office Files without needing to load backups or snapshots to locate and restore the file.
