Tecala Group, the Sydney-based ICT consulting and solutions provider, today announced that it has been approved by the New South Wales Government for inclusion in the Registered Supplier List of the NSW Government IT Services Scheme.
Tecala Group can now supply low risk customer contracts across New South Wales government agencies valued up to $150,000.
The NSW Government IT Services Scheme aligns with the NSW Government ICT Strategy 2012, which provides a comprehensive approach to identifying, sourcing and procuring ICT goods and services, to ensure government harness new, innovative and effective approaches.
“We commend the New South Wales government on this scheme and for making it easier for mid-market IT vendors to engage with government in the supply of innovative services,” said Pieter DeGunst, Sales and Marketing Director, Tecala Group. “Our participation will provide the state’s agencies with broad exposure to Tecala Group’s range of data centre infrastructure, virtualisation, security, storage, backup and recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity, service desk, Unified Communications and IT Systems management solutions.
“At the same time, we look forward to investing in our relationship with the NSW Government and in its overall ICT transformation strategy which will enable us to collaborate and build best practice solutions.”
