Melbourne, Victoria 5th April 2013 – Payne Investments Pty Ltd, a Budget Rent a Car franchise, recently overhauled their business systems and invested in a new ERP solution to gain greater flexibility and visibility of their key financial data and improve internal processes.
“We needed more flexibility in the new system, we wanted to be able to easily share data, email reports and alleviate some of the frustrations the Administration team faced when it came to searching for Rental Agreement information,” explained Sue La Bozzetta, Payne’s Administrator Manager.
Payne Investments decided to implement Arrow’s latest accounting solution, Tencia. “We were keen to implement a solution that could easily handle data being uploaded from our global car rental, reservation and data processing system, we have several branches across Victoria and New South Wales and over 80 staff, so it was important to ensure that we invested in a new system that could handle our growth and our requirements,” said Sue.
Payne Investments wanted to work with a highly experienced implementation partner that really understood their business to ensure that the large scale IT project went according to plan. “It was important for us to know that our implementation partner had the right type of experience and really understood our industry. Our Arrow Business Partner, Information Synergy, had managed a similar project for another Budget Rent a Car franchise located in Melbourne, so we knew we were in safe hands,” said Sue.
According to Sue,
transparency across the business was one of the most significant improvements
that Tencia was able to deliver. “We
have a much better view of our customers now, so we’re better informed when it
comes to dealing with customer inquiries.
We have seen improvements in our customer inquiry turnaround times and in invoice
cycle times. Now that we can find the
information so much faster and email invoices or remittance advice
with the click of a button, it has made our customer communications so much
easier,” she said.
