Introducing the AMT-N5970A from Amtex Electronics
Amtex Electronics has designed, developed and manufactured a PC unit ideally suited to use as a gateway interface between process I/O networks and process control networks.
The AMT-N5970A is a 19 rackmount PC incorporating a Celeron 850 CPU, 256MB RAM, ECM-860-2PICMIC Slot Single Board Computer, and a BPI-214SP7, 7 slot PCI, 5 slot ISA backplane.
Featuring a locking front cover, this unit is supplied with 300 watt power supply, CDROM, 20GB HDD and inbuilt floppy. Optional rack slides can be added.
The 7 PCI slots in this system are perfect for housing legacy protocol communications cards, and Amtex can load the operating system of choice.
Backed with local engineering support, the AMT-N5970A comes complete with robust industrial housing and a sturdy frontage to ensure removal from the rack is easy and results in no cracking or damage to the unit.
