FourPL engages prominent CIO Chris Fechner in advisory role

Appointment boosts supply chain and IT strategy

Aussie company FourPL has appointed Chris Fechner, a prominent CIO with strong experience in the Transportation and Rail industries, to a customer advisory role focussing on supply chain and IT strategy and governance.

Fechner has joined FourPL from Queensland Transport and Main Roads, where he worked as CIO having previously been with Queensland Rail where he oversaw the ICT program to legally and functionally separate QR Ltd into two companies. During this time, QR also won a Customer Awards from SAP for Best Visibility Project using event management to improve the coal billing process and delivering significant benefits to the company.
