Announcement posted by Paclink 19 Nov 2005

Paclink Communications, a leading architect and distributor of last mile, wireless and fibre optic network solutions today announced the official opening of its Brisbane Corporate Offices and support centre - Paclink Queensland.
The expansion appoints Paclink Queensland as the preferred RAD, Alvarion, FibroLAN and Ceragon access solutions provider to the Queensland Government and other strategic and key accounts in the State.
Bob Bishop, CEO Paclink Queensland said the opening came at a time when demand for communications and access solutions was booming throughout Queensland.
The penetration of internet services in Queensland increased by 66% (249k to 416k lines) in the last 12 months. Queenslanders downloaded 2.4m MB of data in the March Quarter which is a doubling from the same period last year.
The new office and support centre will cement Paclinks position as the premier provider of advanced communications solutions.
The development is a valuable move in continuing Paclinks commitment to providing the highest standards of access solutions, support and service delivery throughout Queensland.
The move will enable Queensland carriers, service providers and key accounts to have direct local access to Paclink design and technical resources, he said.
Paclink is the leading Asia Pacific distributor and supplier of last mile and broadband internet wireless products which enable companies to reduce current infrastructure and operational costs and reap rapid return on their investment.
