Aptira presents Piston Enterprise OpenStack at CeBIT

SYDNEY –  May 28,  2013 – The OpenStack® community comes to CeBIT Australia for the first time when the show opens in Sydney today. CeBIT will run to May 30 and is being held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour; OpenStack is on stand 001 in the Cloud Ecosystem section in Hall 4. 

During the three-day event local OpenStack provider Aptira will provide live demonstrations in the OpenStack Foundation booth of a Piston Enterprise OpenStack cloud deployment and operations on commodity hardware provided by Xenon Systems and Arista switching. As well as demonstrating the ease of installation, Aptira will showcase how Piston provides virtualised compute, storage and networking through self-service interfaces and APIs. In addition, Aptira CEO, OpenStack Board Director and leader of the Australian OpenStack User Group, Tristan Goode, will lead a workshop on Virtualisation Management that will highlight the capabilities of Piston Enterprise OpenStack.
