BigAir Group Limited Signs New Agreement with Unwired

BigAir Group Limited (ASX:BGL) has signed a new wholesale agreement which broadens its relationship with Unwired Australia (ASX:UNW). The relationship has been expanded to include Melbourne and Unwireds new laptop wireless card in addition to its existing desktop modem.
Unwireds Chief Executive Officer David Spence said, BigAir, through its mobile wireless subsidiary Veritel, first became an Unwired partner nearly two years ago. Since that time, it has built a rapidly growing and loyal customer base, and it has cemented its position as a key Unwired channels partner.
BigAir Group Limited Chief Executive Officer Jason Ashton said, We are strong believers in the Unwired wireless broadband technology and this agreement reaffirms our commitment to a technology we believe to be one of the most advanced and cost-efficient wireless technologies available in the world.
Opening up the Melbourne market for BigAir to sell Unwired PC cards and desktops is also expected to improve subscriber growth for BigAir, he said.
Users of wireless broadband are attracted to Unwireds technology because of its reliable performance and wide coverage. The addition of the Unwired PC Card product is expected to open up a new market for sales among mobile professionals.
This new agreement underscores our intent to work together in enabling more businesses to realise the benefits of Unwireds unique capabilities, Jason Ashton added.
