Australian communications software specialist Turbosoft has announced the release of TTerm, it's all new terminal emulation App for Apple's iPad, offering users the most comprehensive enterprise grade terminal emulation solution available on the App Store
TTerm provides emulations for over 80 different terminals ranging from popular terminals such as the IBM 3270, IBM 5250, Wyse and DEC VT series through to more specialized terminals such as those produced by manufacturers like Stratus and HP Non-Stop (Tandem).
Turbosoft CEO Bernie Snoek said “TTerm is a real breakthrough for iPad. You can find quite a few basic SSH and VT100 type Apps in the App Store but there are almost none offering an enterprise grade solution with proper support for the terminals that business is really looking for. For the first time iPad owners who need high quality terminal emulation have a real choice.”
TTerm offers comprehensive terminal and language support, support for Apple wireless keyboards, custom hotspots for touch interaction, multi-session capability and a variety of other features and tools designed to enhance terminal emulation for iPad.
“As an Australian company with a long and proud history in terminal emulation software for the Windows platform we're excited to be able to extend our range of solutions to the iPad, and even more proud of the fact that it's development has been 100% Australian.” Snoek said. “We've worked very hard to bring not only a wide range of terminal support to TTerm but also the accuracy and reliability that we've become known for.”
TTerm comes in several versions catering to different terminal requirements and is available in the App Store now. More information can be found on Turbosoft's website, www.ttwin.com and on the App Store at www.appstore.com/turbosoftptyltd
