Announcement posted by ATechnology 12 Jun 2013
Brisbane, Australia, 12 June, 2013 – ATechnology, a leading technology and web design company, today announced a spate of new business wins in the Brisbane IT sector including Bridge Point Communications, Foresiight, IT Security Training Australia, ProEMA and RP Data, with the majority of the projects relating to website development.
Sarah-jane Peterschlingmann, Director of ATechnology, said, “We are honoured to be selected by such respected organisations and be part of their method for ongoing business success.
“It is not uncommon for IT companies to have staff with specialised IT skills but not including web development expertise. These companies recognise the value of using highly skilled professionals, and can see the difference between a professional website and a makeshift alternative.
“The benefits of a professionally developed website include more control over the data, more flexibility to create the website exactly how you want it, and more security against being hacked.
“We’ve found that IT company executives appreciate having someone to talk to on their level with an understanding of their issues. They can verify our skills and recognise our reputation for quality, whereas others without technical skills and understanding are taking a leap of faith.”
The new business wins include:
1. Foresiight is a leading provider of retail software. ATechnology has been instrumental in the company’s recent rebrand from ‘Rimtech Software’ to ‘Foresiight’, developing a new website for Foresiight, and creating websites for Foresiight’s products ProfiitPlus and Alchemii. ATechnology will also update the website for Sniip, Foresiight’s mobile commerce application. In addition, Foresiight has commissioned ATechnology to develop an interactive training tool for a major Australian retail partner. The retailer will use the online training tool to educate sales staff about the Sniip app.
2. IT Security Training Australia offers data and information security training courses for information security professionals. IT Security Training Australia has turned toATechnology to design marketing material including email marketing templates, pull up banners and brochures.
3. proEMA is an educational software provider that specialises in school-based assessment systems, enabling teachers to make, mark and moderate assessments anytime, anywhere. proEMA has engaged ATechnology to update its proprietary software created by another developer to ensure it meets the evolving requirements of educators. ATechnology will also create diagrams for proEMA to use in its presentations.
4. RP Data is a provider of property information, analytics and risk-management services. It owns the largest property related database in Australia which includes transaction data for every home sale within every state and territory. RP Office is the name of RP Data’s fully integrated property management software package. ATechnology will provide a range of network consulting services to RP Data and advice regarding network security.
5. Bridge Point Communicationsprovides expertise and solutions in the areas of Information Security, Networking and Data Management. ATechnology developed an online interactive agenda for Bridge Point’s recent 7th annual Forum, containing the agenda for the three-day event, speaker profiles, presentations, brochures, and an online feedback form. Bridge Point has also engaged ATechnology to perform ongoing website maintenance, assist with SEO and website analytics, and create landing pages for specific marketing campaigns.
Regarding the online interactive agenda, Bridge Point’s Managing Director, Rob Siganto, said, “We advised delegates prior to the Forum that this was a paperless event in keeping with the theme ‘Rise of the Digital Age’ and all materials would be accessible online. Delegates brought their iPads along to access the content.
“The online feedback form was an overwhelming success. It gave delegates the opportunity to provide immediate and anonymous feedback on each of the presentations. We received around 350 responses. This is a valuable tool for evaluating speakers, and forming the agenda and themes for next year’s event. It provided a much more informed result than our previous Forums. In the past, we emailed delegates after the event requesting feedback and were lucky to get 50 responses – which were not as insightful due to the time lag.
“Bridge Point is delighted with the quality of the work and strategic advice provided by ATechnology. We will definitely use the online interactive agenda tool for next year’s Forum and for other future events.”
