Cisco presents Ingram Micro Australia with SBTG Worldwide Distributor of the Year at Cisco Global Partner Summit

Sydney, Australia, 25 June, 2013. Ingram Micro, Australia’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain, mobile device lifecycle services and logistics solutions, was presented with the Small Business Technology Group (SBTG) Worldwide Distributor of the Year Award at the Cisco Global Partner Summit in Boston.

Recognising excellence in driving unparalleled growth across the entire Small Business Technology Group product line, the Award reflects the success of Ingram Micro’s Cisco Virtual Sales Program.

Conceived by Ingram Micro Australia’s marketing and sales teams, the Cisco Virtual Sales Program launched in November 2012, and is focused on creating compelling targeted offers to suit the specific needs of Cisco SMB resellers. This is backed by an extensive outbound sales program, together with sales enablement support provided by the Ingram Micro and Cisco teams.

Matt Sanderson, VP and Managing Director of Ingram Micro Australia, says the award shows the benefits of a well constructed, integrated sales and marketing approach, and the results speak for themselves.

“This has been a tremendously successful program for both Cisco and Ingram Micro, and is a showcase for how vendors and distributors working together can achieve fantastic results. The award was presented at a gala dinner held during the Cisco Global Partner Summit, which took place in Boston from June 3rd to 6th.
